Extract audio from video

What it does

Turn a recorded performance, interview, voice note, or presentation into an audio file. Choose Original quality, MP3, or M4A.

When it is useful

Listening without the picture, sending a recording to a transcription service, or reusing spoken audio.

What should I choose?

• Original quality is fastest and avoids changing the sound when possible.
• MP3 is the safest choice if you will send the audio to someone else.
• M4A gives good quality in a smaller modern audio file.

How to use it
